Higher Education for Returning Students

The Higher Education for Returning Students program provides loans to Haredi women and men who are heads of households and who seek additional education to enable them to secure well-paying, satisfying jobs to help support their families. This program helps pay tuition to earn a degree, such as one in education or social work.

Loans are up to $7,500 per year (capped at $15,000 in total) and must be repaid within six years, with repayment deferred until after completion of the degree.

Additional documents beyond those listed under How to Apply are required for this loan program. Please contact HFLS at 212-687-0188 or info@hfls.org to learn more.
