Shelley Levine has more than 40 years of experience in the field of healthcare and alternative approaches to wellness as well as many years serving on boards and in leadership positions in nonprofits. Most recently, she created an innovative therapeutic yoga program for veterans experiencing chronic pain and trauma at the New Jersey VA Medical Center. She also serves on the New York Council of the American Farmland Trust influencing the Council’s focus on issues of low wage farm labor and minority farm ownership. She was an early and consistent supporter of Brandworkers, an organization supporting undocumented workers in the food processing industry to advocate for their rights and better working conditions in New York and New Jersey. Shelley was an RN, has an MBA in Healthcare Management and was among the first group of graduates to be certified through the International Association of Yoga Therapists.
