HFLS Development Associate

THE ORGANIZATION: The Hebrew Free Loan Society (HFLS) fosters financial stability and opportunity among low- and moderate-income New Yorkers by providing access to safe, affordable credit in the form of interest-free loans. HFLS loans allow borrowers to invest in their education, start a business, meet emergency expenses, and prevent minor financial challenges from snowballing into a full-blown crisis.

HFLS serves people of all backgrounds, regardless of their immigration status or credit history. Founded in 1892, HFLS has been meeting the needs of lower-income New Yorkers for generations. This year, HFLS will lend more than $20 million to nearly 1,600 households, and we strive to help more people every year.
