Amy Shapiro is a partner at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, an international law firm, where her practice focuses on corporate and financial transactions, with a particular emphasis on representation of private equity firms and their portfolio companies in financing matters, clients on the financing of major M&A transactions and financial sponsors in fund and management company financings. She is a graduate of Yale College and University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School. She lives in Manhattan with her husband and their two daughters.
