Ellen Braitman is the chair of the HFLS board. She is a longtime business journalist who now heads up Bloomberg LP’s News Innovation Lab in the Americas. She is the author of a book on personal finance for college students. Ellen is passionate about economic opportunity and joined the HFLS board in 2005. She chairs the organization’s governance committee. Ellen has two young adult daughters and lives on the Upper West Side with her husband. She teaches yoga to youth and is pursuing a master’s degree in creative writing and literature.
