Ellen Braitman is a longtime business journalist and newsroom trainer who now heads up the News Innovation Lab in the Americas at Bloomberg LP. She is the author of a book on personal finance for college students. Ellen joined the HFLS board in 2005 and will become the board chair in June 2024. She currently is Vice Chair and heads the Governance Committee. Ellen has two adult daughters and lives on the Upper West Side with her husband. She teaches yoga to youth and is pursuing a masters degree in literature and creative writing.
