Edward Karan is an executive in the wealth management industry and has 30+ years of experience advising individuals, families, and institutions on important financial decisions. He graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business as a Joseph Wharton Scholar and also holds Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Financial Planner accreditations. He feels connected to HFLS because, “Interest-free lending expresses ethical imperatives I inherited from the Chofetz Chaim (my great-great-grandfather) and also makes effective use of my professional skill set within banking and finance.” Edward resides in NY with his wife and five children and is a member of The Jewish Center and Congregation Ohab Zedek on the Upper West Side and the Jewish Center of Atlantic Beach. He is also a financial coach affiliated with “Living Smarter Jewish”.
