Edward Karan serves as head of the Professional Services Group at Citi Private Bank, which advises Partners and Managing Directors on broad wealth management strategies. He graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business as a Joseph Wharton Scholar and also holds Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Financial Planner accreditations. He feels connected to HFLS because, “Interest free lending expresses ethical imperatives I inherited from the Chofetz Chaim (my great-great-grandfather) and also makes effective use of my professional skill set within banking and finance.” Edward resides in NY with his wife and 4 children and is a member of the Jewish Center of the Upper West Side and the Jewish Center of Atlantic Beach.
