Dr. Victoria Bengualid is a physician specializing in infectious diseases. She is the Director of Medical Education for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Saint Barnabas Hospital in  the Bronx, the primary clinical affiliate of the CUNY School of Medicine. Dr. Bengualid is also Associate professor of clinical medicine at Albert Einstein School of Medicine and the Editor in Chief of the New York Medical Journal. She is the author of numerous publications in peer-reviewed medical journals and the recipient of several awards for the teaching of medical residents. Dr. Bengualid’s volunteer activities include service on the Board of Shearith Israel, the Spanish and Portuguese Synagogue, the oldest Jewish congregation in the United States.
