HFLS is pleased to introduce a Borrower Portal to make accessing your loan information and submitting requests to HFLS more convenient. 

In the Portal, borrowers can view their current loan balance and payment history, prior loan history, and request a change to their monthly repayment date, amount, or the checking account from which they make payments.

    Below are step-by-step instructions to create your HFLS Borrower Portal account. You may also click here  for instructions that include screenshots as visual aids or watch a video tutorial here.

    1. Click here to access the Borrower Portal login page.
    2. Enter your Loan Number exactly as it appears on your loan closing documents (promissory note, disclosures, and ACH form).
      • NOTE: This field is case-sensitive and pre-populated with the “RPMT-” heading.
      • If you do not have your loan number, please email Portal@HFLS.org.
    3. In the “Logging in for the First Time?” section, select “New Account Creation.”
    4. Enter the email address you used to apply for a loan and correspond with HFLS staff during the application process, then click “Next.”
    5. You will receive an email titled “Your HFLS Borrower Portal One-Time Security Code” from Loan@HFLS.org; this email will contain a unique Portal PIN. On the Portal page, enter this Portal PIN into the designated field and additional account setup fields will appear.
    6. Select a Security Question from the pre-populated list and enter your answer.
    7. You will receive an email titled “Your HFLS Borrower Portal One-Time Security Code” from Loan@HFLS.org; this email will contain a 9-digit Security Code. On the Portal page, click on “Please Enter the 9 Digit Security Code sent to your email” and enter the Security Code from your email.
      • NOTE: For your security, you will receive a Security Code email every time you attempt to log into the HFLS Borrower Portal. This email will always come from Loan@HFLS.org.
    8. Follow the “help” text to enter your preferred password into the Portal webpage.
    9. If your PIN and Security Code are verified, the “Login/Submit” button will appear at the bottom of the page. Click on the Login/Submit button to enter the borrower portal.

    You may use the Borrower Portal to request a change to your monthly payment amount, date, or the checking account from which you make loan payments.

    Please note that any changes to this information must be submitted at least four business days prior to your next scheduled payment date. If your request is submitted less than four business days prior to your next payment date, HFLS will not be able to accommodate your request until the following month.

    1. Click here to access the Borrower Portal login page.
    2. In the “Actions” menu, select “Request a Payment Modification.”
    3. Choose a modification option from the “What type of modification would you like to request?” dropdown menu.
    4. Enter the required information and review all fields to ensure they are complete and correct. Click “Submit.”

    You will receive a response regarding the status of your Payment Modification Request within two business days.

    To obtain your Loan Number: Click here to access the Borrower Portal login page.

    1. Select “Request Loan Number” from the “Forgot your Loan Number?” drop-down menu.
    2. Enter the email address you have been using to correspond with HFLS, and click “Next.”
    3. You will receive an email titled “HFLS Borrower Portal Loan Number Request” from Loan@HFLS.org. Click on the Loan Number Access Form link in the email.
    4. Answer your Security Question and enter the 9-digit Security Code from the loan number access email.
    5. If your information is validated, your Loan Number will appear. Copy your Loan Number and click on the Return to Borrower Portal link.
    6. Enter your Loan Number where indicated and follow the prompts to log in as you normally would.

    To reset your password: Click here to access the Borrower Portal login page.

    1. Type in your Loan Number and click “Next.”
    2. Select “Request Password Reset” from the “Forgot Your Password?” dropdown menu, and enter the email address you use to correspond with HFLS.
    3. You will receive an email titled Your “HFLS Borrower Portal Password Reset Request” from Loan@HFLS.org that contains a Borrower Portal Password Reset link. Click on the link to open the Reset Form.
    4. In the Reset Form, enter your Loan Number, answer your Security Question (case sensitive), and enter the 9-digit Security Code from the password reset email.
    5. If your information is verified, you’ll be prompted to create a new password following the guidelines in the help text. Click “Submit” after entering your new password.
    6. Click on “Back to the Borrower Portal” to log in using your new password.
