“I’m a workout lover and personal trainer, and I’m passionate about helping women with health problems feel better. I decided to open my business, The StreetLite Co., to both run exercise classes and sell modest athletic clothes that make it easier for women to fit exercising into their lives.
I came to HFLS at the beginning because it was so expensive to start the business, and I needed financing to quickly fill a lot of gaps.

The loan from HFLS had a huge impact, and it came just in the nick of time so we could open up to the community. The loan helped us stock enough products and build an online presence, which helps supplement the business we do through foot traffic. In a short period of time, we’ve been able to expand to offer classes for men and for children, and we’re starting our own line of athletic clothes soon.
It inspires me every day when someone tells me that they look forward to getting out of bed in the morning to come to StreetLite, and that the exercise they’re doing really makes a difference in their lives.
