The 2024/2025 UJA Scholarship Application Period is Now Closed

Scholarships will be for the 2024/2025 academic year (August 2024 – July 2025).

Important Scholarship Information:

  • The Scholarship Committees have met and have relayed their scholarship decisions. As a reminder, the decisions are the sole discretion of the scholarship committees and the decision is not subject to appeal. The committee does not relay the reasons for its decisions so we will not be able to provide insight as to the reasons.  ALL COMMITTEE DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND CANNOT BE APPEALED.
  • On July 31, 2024 emails will be sent to students advising them of the decisions. The notices will be sent to the email address listed on the student’s scholarship application.
  • If a student was awarded a scholarship, they have until Sunday, August 11th at 11:59pm to log into the application portal and accept or decline the scholarship. The emails sent contain instructions on how to accept or decline the award. There will be no extensions and failure to accept the award will be deemed as declining the award and the awarded amount will not be requested from the Scholarship funder. Failure to accept by the deadline will be deemed as declining the scholarship and no funds will be disbursed to the school for that student.
  • Disbursement of the scholarship funds to the schools will begin on Monday, August 19th. Most schools will be receiving the funds via wire transfers and therefore the process of updating a student’s account will be completed within a few days. Other schools have opted for a check and that may take a few weeks for the student’s account to reflect the award. Once the school receives the funds, whether by wire transfer or check, the speed at which student’s accounts are updated is at the sole discretion of the school.
